12th Fail, based on Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, follows the journeys of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film was also inspired by millions of true stories of students attempting the world’s most difficult competitive exam, the UPSC. 12th Fail takes an authentic approach, filming in real locations with real students to provide a glimpse into the lives of UPSC students, their grit, integrity, and determination, as well as the lasting friendships they form.
